I purchased an ampli-firebox last month when I was in the US. I finally got home and plugged it in and and worked fine so I decided to upload the new firmware then after installing the ampli-firebox was completely unresponsive. I used the Strymon Zuma as the power supply. Any help with this would be great!

    Cheers,

    Matt

This happened to me today too. Been using my firebox for home recording and I just put it on my pedalboard for gigging. The board is powered by a Strymon Zuma and it worked fine until I updated the firmware. Then It just died. No reaction until I used another power supply. Is this a software issue that's possible to fix or maybe do a formware roll back?

Sounds like the power supply is the issue -- not enough juice to power things enabled by the new firmware, maybe?

The Zuma power supply ramps up the power rather that providing all at once which is what the AmpliFireBox requires.
I would recommend the TrueTone power supplies:
