Look what just popped up on Studio Devil's facebook feed:

Pretty exiting! Anybody going to NAMM and can put eyes on this thing?

I can't wait for the details to come out on this new pedal. Very interesting indeed.

Curious if it is a character pedal (like Tech 21) that can download different amps as needed, one at a time, that also allows Cab IR loading

Yeah looks like it has a USB port in the upper right so I'm hoping it will let us load our favorite Amplifire Amp Sim, IR, and Reverb setting. If it could load two amp sims and toggle between or toggle between two settings for clean/rhythm type action that would be awesome.

Awesome! The right switch might be "boos"t, so you might be able to add overdrive/distortion... But what could the left switch be?!? Ideas...??

I think I read that reverb might be built in there too.

Atomic & Studio Devil have an interesting form factor here which looks to work for a wide range of users.

Experienced users with a bunch on of pedals? Leave the amp at home and place this on your pedalboard, control via the knobs they're used to.

New guitarist? Here's your amp: a pedal. Plug into computer speakers, upgrade as you get better and experience

Want to get under the hood for advanced adjustments? Use the editor. Change the amp type IR's etc

    Need a backup? Wow..

Secretly want to try digital modeling but not computer saavy or the pricing a still too high? Here you go, give it a try.

Want run into 2 amps? Get 2! (or 1 to supplement your existing amplifier)

Seems like this product could fill a lot of niches.

Big question now is the price.
I would assume between 199.00 and 299.00? I can see so many possible uses for it, both stand alone and with the original AF. Hours of fun experimentation could ensue!

At $299 I'd just pay a bit more and get a used AF3

the control's layout is very similar to Studio Devil's Virtual Amp, with added reverb control ..it would be great if is possible to customize the presets, and load AF models, but i think it will be a diffrent device with his own software

I just spotted this text on the studio devil website:

So it seems as if it's NOT just the amps!

I got to talk to Tom a little bit yesterday and price is $299. Three channels/modes on three amps giving 9 voicings. Third switch is for IR selection. Didn't get to talk much about details, I'm guessing the three positions on the IR switch would be open-backed cab, closed cab, and no cab.

Hopefully we'll have some more info after today's session.

So the switches have 3 positions each. Cool! I bet you could populate 3 different cab IR's of your choice on the cab switch.

or based on AA editor global config 3 cab modes for example
    1) cab on for both XLR and TRS exits
    2) cab on only for XLR exit
    3) cab off
