Really enjoying my AFB and dialing in some presets as well as cabs. Just running the AFB only into an Alto SM112 powered angled monitor at home and managing to get amazing clean and dirty tones. Not the best FRFR but close to what would be heard FOH in many small clubs.
Hooked up to my Eventide H9 and I would not hesitate to use that for live gigs. I can't imagine any stompbox doing what this one does for the price. I also like the idea of leaving it up to the owner to add their preferred delay/modulation effects. Fantastic tone!

Not sure if this is true but hope Atomic can mention it....

It seems there's a firmware update that will add delay to the AFB coming later this month.
    Is this true?

It is true! We hope to have the update finished by the end of the month!
The ECO (echo/delay) For the AmpliFire-Box iis a single tap.
You can select from Digital, Soft Digital, Analog, Tape and Dark Tape types.
Parameters are Delay Time, Feedback, Mix and Level.
Tap mode settings are: Normal, Double Time, Triplets, Sixteenths and Dotted Eighths.
You can also turn on/off Tails and Spillover.
The ECO can be set to ON in a preset or you can assign the ECO to
be turned on/off with the BOOST foot switch.
Also, if you hold down the BOOST foot switch for 3 seconds you will enter tap tempo mode.
The LED above the switch will blink to the tempo of the delay.
Tap the BOOST switch and control the tempo.
Once you’ve stopped tapping, the next tap will turn the echo off.

    Great news!

Thanks Jace. Something tells me you will be selling a lot more of these boxes!

Will I be able to pair the ECO with other effects/parameters assigned to the boost switch? For example, can I enable the ECO and and EQ or a Boost with a single tap of the boost switch? That would be sweet for solo boost!

Is there no way to buy the AmpliFire-Box in the EU? This might be the perfect upgrade from my Eleven Rack. Does it have some sort of noise gate built in?

I am not sure of product availability throughout the World, but the first effect in the signal chain is the Noise Gate [GTE] and here is the description from the manual:

The GATE effect provides a programmable NOISE SUPPRESSOR, EXPANDER, and GATE. NOISE GATE enable is programmed per preset, so that you can shut it
off for particular presets, and leave it on for others. These options can be set in the GATE effect menu.

They will be available in the EU VERY soon! Keep in mind that the AmpliFire-Box is not a USB audio interface like the Eleven Rack is. You'll want to hang on to your 11R and just plug the AmpliFire-Box in to the line inputs for recording. If you're using your 11R for live performance, the AmpliFire-Box might be able to replace it, but keep in mind that you can only channel switch between 2 of the 9 loaded presets. If that's enough for you....great.

And when it does come out, can we have access to the older firmware version in case we want to back to it?

No release date yet. We're working hard on it though! Yes, you can revert to the older firmware. You have it now, just keep it. But we will make it available.

An update to the AF3 and AF12 is on the way. We're not close enough to give you a date yet, but it is coming!

Ok, then I'll wait until it's available. But I can have more presets on the computer so I can switch out those 9 presets? Neither the AFB, AF3 or AF12 includes recording interface? I have an old Line 6 UX1 I might be able to use - mostly want to play along.

I might need 3 pedals though - clean, rhythm, lead. Maybe AF3 is better for me

Thanks Jace, it's great to have you involved in the forum. I know it's a bit cheeky but any hints as to what we can expect to see in the new update??

Not close enough, after having a beta firmware for one year? By Atomic standards, this means that from the time of announcement it will take another 2 months, so that's like spring/summer 2018, right?
