As the title asks, anyone using the MeloAudio expression pedal with their AmpliFire?

I'm giving up on the EV-30...just can't get it to work consistently and smoothly with the unit (and I've tried everything). In addition, I'm not using its dual expression capability, so it's overkill for me.

The MeloAudio gets great reviews (and is small - which I need); however, I believe it is wired wiper to ring...not sure how that would work with the Atomic unit...

Disregard - was able to snag another DVP4 at a great price (and I know it will work with no issues as I already have another working with the AA6).

Just in case someone searches for this on the forum - got the second DVP4 (x) pedal in today, and played the rig for about an hour. It just works - the difference is night and day with regard to the compatibility and "readability" of the expression sweep when compared to the EV-30. I now have full expression throw available to me again for the second exp. parameter of each preset.

Before anyone asks - yes, I've been doing (numerous) calibrations of all expression pedals to ensure that wasn't the issue - as well as trying different adjustments to the trimpots on the EV-30 (for min pot settings). The DVP4 just works without any muss or fuss, while the Boss pedal just didn't seem to play nicely (or consistently) with the AA6.

I do know others have mentioned that the EV-30 works for them, but there are several here who've had less-than-optimum experiences getting their AF units to "read" it well. It's just a personal recommendation, but I suggest that if you're new to the Atomic family and pondering which exp. pedal to get, the EV-30 maybe shouldn't be your first choice.
