Can't say I'm surprised as the Atomic range all sound great. However they're all capable of sounding good so a different IR or tweaked EQ could easily have produced a different result.

It's interesting how much prejudice seemed to exist about the Atomic. Loads of people seemed to assume it would be the worst yet won by a mile.

I just dont believe guys who say that they "heard it right away", "that`s Fractal for sure" etc... Thats just crap imo, these modelers are so close to eachother, you simply cant be sure whats real amp and what is simulation nowadays , yet alone tell the difference between modelers with same IR...

Not really my style but I picked the AA. It was the clear winner to my ears. I've been thinking about getting an Axe FX just to see what it is like but after that maybe I won't. I've always been extremely impressed with my AA6. It blows my HX Stomp out of the water. I still love my Headrush Pedalboard but the AA6 is the best.

I just got a Splawn Street Rod and have been extremely impressed with it. I've always listened to my AA6 through headphones or quietly through monitors. I decided to test it against the Splawn and cranked up my Headrush FRFR12. I decided to use Jace's CLR presets and crank the Headrush up loud. They were very tube like. I'm pretty sure I could match the Splawn if I dug in and tweaked it perfectly. I'm just not good with tweaking.

I'm going to see what I can do in the next 45 days with the AA6 and maybe the Splawn will go back. I love the Splawn but I also love the AA6 and am very impressed with how tube like and real it is compared to every other modeler I have tried.
