I installed the latest update last night, turned on the pitch shifter on my main preset and connected an expression pedal and went to the gig. At the gig I couldn't figure out why I was getting so much latency while playing. I turned off the pitch shifter and it went away. Anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it but still have the pitch shifter on?

So the Pitchshifter MODE is set to Whammo?
Is the expression pedal for input A or B (which ever you've plugged in to) set to Psh:pEDAL?
Are the HEEL and TOE parameters set properly?
If all of this is correct, try just reloading the firmware.
In the editor go to FILE-UPDATE FIRMWARE.
After the update process is finished do you still have the problem?

Expressionnpedal is plugged into B, since I have another in A for wah, and is set to psh pedal, heel set to 0, toe set to +12.

Pedal is still at the club, as I have a gig there tonight as well, but I’ll take a laptop and try reloading the firmware to see if that helps.

Reinstalling the firmware seems to have fixed the latency problem I was having. Thanks.

I spoke too soon. The latency is back. I have it assigned to a footswitch, so I can turn it off when I don't need it, but it is pretty bad on some presets.

Hello, I also experience this random delay with the whammy. Latency seems to increase and decrease for no apparent reason. I reinstalled the latest firmware after reading this post but it didn't have any effect. I also have to say I was a little disappointed with the whammy, It's quite good with single note stuff but it breaks down when you play chords etc. (for example the intro riff to Stranded by Gojira). Maybe it's a digitech thing, I have yet to see a whammy affect as good as the real thing in any processor or modeler. I also wonder if it's possible to add an auto on-off feature to the whammy like the wah, the latency would be least of an issue if that was possible.

Make a backup file to save all of your settings and presets.
Download the SYSTEM RESTORE file from this page:
    https://atomicamps.com/atomic-amps-support/
Restore with that file and try the pitch shifting.
    Is the latency gone?
If so, reload your personal backup file and check the latency again.

I restored the file, still no change. But I'm now noticing that this is more of a tracking issue than latency. It seems like the whammo can't catch up when there's too much input with quick succesion (fast-staccato playing or notes from multiple strings) Maybe it can be fixed with future updates. The auto off feature would be a great help if at all possible.
