Love this Amp!!!!! I tried to make a tone, that is close to Plini / David Maxim Micic style.

Thanks, I will try it out this evening.

Oh, what cab is the Moon IR based on? I have a bunch of other IRs I'd like to try before buying even more. :p

It is a mix IR, but from the Info I read, that one of the cabs in this IR is ENGL V30

Going by the file type: Is this for an Ampli-Firebox? I can't see the file type from my AA6.

....and I forgot to ask! Downloaded it last night and it took me a while to realise why I couldn't see it when trying to upload it to my AA12. Duh!

Can you give us the basics, like the amp settings and if you used any 'special sauce,' like particular PEQs? I've been playing with that model, and I seem to either get too much bottom, too much gain, or it's too dull.

Thank you! I will compare this to what I had and add the other filters. I think that pre EQ might get rid of the boom I was getting.

That pre-EQ filter was the big piece I was missing. I was reading in another thread earlier about using it for this purpose, this gave me a better idea of how to apply it. I really like the patch, thanks again for taking the time to type it all out for me.

(First time posting in the Forum). It's awesome that everyone here is willing to take the time to assist others in their tonal journey... :) Drop the Sun: Thanks for sharing the above presets! I too have been seeking a better tone preset for Progressive / Low-tuning style composition. Great Job! I run the AA 12 into an Orange OR15 and Carvin 4X12 cab.

@drop the sun super generous of you to take time to write out your settings. Your PRE block roll off was really helpful for dialing in my own presets too as I've been fighting the bottom end with the BE model.
