    I got all excited when I saw this pop up as new --- especially since @Jace Nuzback has been hinting that a new update is coming.

    Haha :D RSS, such witchcraft. But yeah, something maybe. Perhaps just adding myself to the correct thread's watchlist here on the forum would suffice.

    Now watching the "Atomic News" subforum(?) on this forum.

    Awesome. Your first post is a complaint about firmware.

    Sad to hear, there goes any chance of the AFB becoming the all in one pedal.

But thanks...... im not buying your AA6 or AA12... Im going to sell my AA3 and buying a Kemper or a Fractal. Lots of money but maybe y get some respect and care...

    @eric12

    Totally get your disappointment. However, a few things to consider before you jump:
    - AX8 users are saying the similar things to what you have writen above, now that AX-FXIII has arrived and they are not getting all of the latest updates.
    - Helix is now 3.5 years old and whilst Line 6 have been pretty awesome supporting it to date, it will be replaced eventually and cannot be supported indefinitely.
    - Your AA3 still sounds as good today as it did yesterday.

    AA3 Isn't abandoned. As far as I am aware any bug fixes or new amp models for the AA6/12 should be applicable for the 3. Only new effects that need a larger code base or possibly greater power (as I believe the 6 and 12 have a more powerful DSP) will not work for the 3. What do you need today that you didn't need when you bought the 3? If the answer is nothing then it still fits your needs. I'm a little disapointed that there is nothing new for me. However I bought the AA3 to fit my needs (and secondhand to fit my pocket). It still does so I am happy. I will wait. When my needs change and the AA3 no longer fits my needs (or when it breaks) I will look and buy the best unit to fit my needs and my pocket at that point. Until that time I am happy. I will still be hoping to get some new functionality for free. However in what other aspects of your life does this happen very oftem?

    cheers

    Al.
