    Howdy all!

Just got a quick question, I think I already know the answer to, but just in case I am wrong!

I tried to look for information online but everything seems to be from 2015 and there's been updates on the Amplifire since obviously.

Can I bring in multiple presets at once? Like from MBritt, do I have to load them one at a time? I may be wrong but I thought the first time I loaded in presets I was able to bring them all in at once? But last time Itried, I did had to do one at a time. I want to bring all of them in so they are on my Amplifire and pick the ones I want and use.

I feel like it either doesn't work or I'm missing something really simple?!

    Thanks,

    dxtr

Just a thought, and I cant confirm this since my amplifire isnt here. But could one take a group of presets, zip them up, change the extension to the one amplifire uses for archiving, and then just restore the archive?

Hmmmmm interesting thought! I'm not sure if that would work.

Could it hurt anything if one of us tried it?

I'm a programmer that has written some utilities to help with this issue. Examples:

    - Create an .abu file (backup file) from a single preset that will put that preset in all 128 slots. This is useful to "clear" every preset to a basic, default state.
    - Package a folder of .pre files into an ABU, with an option to offset the presets start at a specific slot number. For example. I wanted to load all the M Britt presets at one time, but didn't want to wipe out my custom presets in the slots 1-30. This utility will package the M Britt presets into an ABU start at slot 50, for example.

If anyone is interested, I would be willing to publish these utilities.

Cool. One thing I was wondering is from a programmer standpoint, is there any way to write a small program that could separate out the integrated Cab file from a .pre file of the whole patch, and create a separate Cab file.

I would be interested, Thank You, Organization in the preset list would be a huge benefit to me.
Loading a "blank" into 128 slots would take me awhile.

Also if anyone uses it successfully, let me know, too.
