This little tune uses three different Impulse responses from the excellent Live Ready sound!
The Clean Guitars are the new Amplifire 65 Clean using the C12k IR from the Powercab pack.
The lead guitar is the Amplifire Rumble Bright using the new Gold 1PC3 IR, also from the Powercab pack.
The Bass is the new Amplifire SV tee using an IR from the Trace Elliot LRS pack.
The guitar is my Yamaha Revstar RS720B. The Bass is a cheapo LTD.

    Nice groove, great fluidity.

Clint, you need to start telling us which IRs are working best for you. Your advice on the ownhammers has been invaluable.

That depends. Ownhammer, Celestionplus, and these Live Ready Sound IRs are all great. I was just playing around again with this song, and made a preset using the Hotbrit with an Ownhammer Marshall IR, and another using an Ownhammer Bogner IR. Different amp, different speakers, and different cabs.
They both sound really good to me too.
I like to use the LRS Powercab IRs with my Powercabs for sure. They are made to work with them, and they are very balanced.
With Ownhammer I have to cut lows more than I would have to with the actual amp, but once you get used to the Ownhammer sound that can be done in seconds or with a template made to use Ownhammers.

Thanks! It has words too, I'll record a proper version of it someday.

Great job Clint! I'm going to have to re-listen tonight when I get to the music room so I can play it through the studio monitors. Very nice!

Thanks. I cringe when I think of people hearing anything on a phone. Feel free to leave your opinions on what you don't like about it.

Just listened on my phone (sorry!) and you sounded great! But here’s my q: what are some overall amplifire settings or adjustments you suggest for using the powercab, which sounds so good for you? Where do you set levels for example? Other tweaks? I just got back from trying powercab plus (which was right out of the box) at my local store using ampli-firebox which is still new to me. I’ve only minimally tweaked some presets using Jace’s low cut eq advice. I wanted to love the powercab but I couldn’t get a good sound. Overall muffled, dark sound, and either brittle on high gain or thin and very flubby bass on cleans. I tried non-tilt and tilt (2 very different sounds), every flat mode (frfr, raw, flat), line 6 speaker models, a few ir’s it comes with, firebox ir’s off and on as appropriate. Disappointing. Apologies if this is too much for this thread. Tx!

I have the recording room PC unhooked from the monitors due to a bad cable. (So now they are plugged right into the AA12!) But I haven't been able to give this a go through a decent sounding system yet.
