    Years ago, I did some tone match IRs and made Lynch patches. The problem is that tone matching gives you a post production match, meaning there is very little low end in the final product. The tone matched patches are extremely bright, and sound horrible on their own, but sound DEAD ON with a backing track.

    In lieu of doing a tone match, your best bet would be to work with the Plexi. George used a lot of mids in his sound. Normally, you can dial something in by boosting the mids, and have the highs slightly below the mids setting. You can get somewhat close, but unfortunately you wont get that LynchBox sound exactly. I tried for years, since I had the LynchBox, until finally i gave up.
