Plexi VH Solo pre set need some more mids!

    @Mr.LukeCooper or others can you take a peek at these. Bass needs to stay down to get the VH I clarity. Need a VH phaser and flanger and some mids in there. Fractal and Kemper Plexi's are really bad, I was super impressed with how good this tone is once tweaked to not be so flubby. The VH rock one is for rhythm volume and tones -less delay and verb. Still needs a little more mid boost tho.

    Still needs some mids to punch thru! Help appreciated!

    Absolutely, I'll give em a go tonight or tomorrow as I have to leave for work.

    If you browse Matticus's effects thread on here there's EVH Phase 90 and MXR Flanger settings that he kindly shared. It's also worth having a look at jfrocks website for brown sound amp and effects settings and Van Halen playing style in general too.

    I moved the GEQ from pre to post, big difference. Like giant punch added. Also put in a little peaking EQ. I think it sounds nice.

    @Mr.LukeCooper is that a drag n drop feature or how do you move them?

    In the editor, there is a box that shows pre/ post for all the effects. I just hit the button and it reordered it to post. Immediately it sounded fantastic. Great preset.
