I currently use a TC HOF2 to provide some of the fancier verbs that that Amplifire can't do.
It is a stereo pedal, but the Amplifire FX loop only has a mono send. So I lose all of the stereo goodness.

The manual says, " The HALL OF FAME 2 has a very wide gain range, and can easily be used with guitar or loop-level signals." I'm wondering - can I put the reverb after the Amplifire output. Will I run into any level or impedence issues ?

TC HOF2 specs are as follows:
    Input impedance 1 MΩ
    Output impedance 100 Ω

I have the same question for my Boss RC3 looper. Specs for the RC3 are:
Nominal Input Level INPUT: -20 dBu
    Input Impedance INPUT: 1 MΩ
    Nominal Output Level -20 dBu
    Output Impedance 1 kΩ
Recommended Load Impedance 10 kΩ or larger

Should work, but it might restrict your volume to the max input the HOF can handle before distortion.

It will work fine that way.
AmpliFire has a mono send, but a stereo return.
So your reverbs would still be in stereo in the FX loop.

HOF takes mono in and gives stereo out. You can use it in the FX loop without losing the stereo goodness.

    Thanks Jace.

I'm currently using the loop in position 5, with the HOF2 and RC3 in it. Position 5 is after everything else but immediately before the cab block. So having the mono fx send means that I lose any upstream stereo fx, e.g. chorus, delays etc.

I'm trying to find a workaround for that retains the upstream stereo fx. Hence putting the HOF2 and RC3 after the output.

This would also have the benefit of meaning that it is placed AFTER the cab block. This is important because :
    i) the looped phrase would include the cab block, so you wouldn't get a change in the tone of your recorded phrase if you switch presets.
ii) I would be able to export the looped phrase to my PC including the cab block.

However, I've subsequently realised that moving everything after the output would mean that I don't get the benefit of the HOF2 or RC3 on the headphone or xlr outs.

So I'll have stick to mono chorus and delays etc. I can live with it.

Would be great if a future firmware update allowed the loop to be moved to 'position 6' - after the cab block. A stereo fx send, or even better, multiple loops should be on the list for any future Amplifire models.

I could be wrong (I run mono), but, as I understand it, even though you only have one cab block, it is in stereo if you have your Amplifire set to put out stereo on one or both of the outputs.

I understand and you are correct.
Perhaps in a future update we can address that.

+1 for a position 6 after the cab block. That would solve my looper issue also => Looper recordings can be transferred to PC but they sound like sh!t because the cab block is not included.
