Today's iteration, should remain for a while
Changed things a bit, liking this better for now.
Here's mine. All on a Temple Audio Duo 17, so still portable enough for most situations. Sounds great either into monitors or through a Seymour Duncan PS170 and Zilla 1x12 cab. Almost endless fun and sonic possibilities with the glorious H9's.
Years' old pic, but still precisely the same as I didn't even unplug/replug anything to it or RP12. It sits under a thick blanket with garbage bag cutout on top, to save from spills. Rig would have been destroyed half a dozen times by now if not. I have the JP95 wah going into AF, which is killer af.
About 2 moths ago, I left the rig powered on by mistake for about a week, under the thick blanket. When I went to play again, I smelled not burnt but rather highly heated plastic. The AF screen would only be black with any setting. After 20 minutes of playing and cooling down, it was and still is perfect again. Rock on. \m/
Just curious How are you liking the Analog drive with the AA, the H9 and the HX. I have a similar setup minus the Analog drive and was looking at the Analog Drive to give some dirt goodness to my setup. I have a few single standalone drives but one with multiple options always peaks my interest. Does it work out better for you than the drives built into the HX?
All cool boards in their own way.
Finished my board (AA6) today & tried to upload a pic, but apparently the file is too big. : (
My rig has changed to an Amplifie 12 and two Powercabs. I also sold my MXR Echoplex pedal (the Atomic Delay is enough for me).
My board is finished....
Here's the underside. On the right hand side is a DB11 loop expander. which is before the Amplifire input. Thanks to @mollydyer for leading the way with that. I've not had a chance to program it yet, but the idea is that I will be able to switch the effects on and off using MIDI and presets. So preset 1 will be a clean deluxe, preset 2 is the same but with the Soul Food and EP Boost stacked, preset 3 is the same but will bring in the Fuzz and Octave up /down on the pitchfork etc. Should be pretty cool.
HOF2 and Loop Station are in the Amplifire loop, right at the end of the chain.
Looks great! Nice and clean.
My latest abomina... Uhh, creation
Lots of stuff under the hood (buffers, jumper box, truetone CS-12 power supply). Amp of AA3 is bypassed when I use a real amp or set to a clean deluxe.
never had a chance
just want to share my pedalboard setup with amplifirebox.
I see you have several Marshall amp in a box pedals. How do they compare with the amp models in the Firebox, or do you no longer use the pedals?
yeah,i like marshall in a box type pedals. im using the AFB for flat clean channel (deluxe model) and boost switch for clean trebley boost. im still using all of my drive pedals from low to mid and high gain drives and tumnus for solo mid push. I didnt compare it yet my drive pedals to AFB preamps.i still prefer to use my external drive pedals for quick adjustment of settings depends on the venue and stage monitor setup.
Tc g major 2 running in stereo through the fx loop on the AA3... Both controlled by a rocktron midimate..... Haven't decided wether to use it live yet
This was my first Ampli-Firebox pedalboard:
This is my current Ampli-Firebox pedalboard:
This is all really great stuff guys!!!
I love to see all the different ways you're using the AmpliFire!
Mine is SO boring!
A Crybaby wah, an M-Audio expression pedal, an AF12 and a CLR.
But I couldn't be happier with my tone!
