I cannot get spillover to work. I need it to work, coming off a solo back into rhythm patch I cannot have it just stop abruptly when changing the patch. So what's up? Why does it not work? Been messing with it for over an hour, a little frustrating.

SPILLOVER (ON/OFF): Controls if the echo effect continues to decay after changing presets (spilling over into the next preset) . This parameter is per preset and controls if the delay spills over when ENTERING (switching to) that preset . Setting this parameter to ENABLED means that any remaining echo from the previous preset will continue to spillover when you switch to THIS preset . Setting this parameter

to DISABLED means that when entering THIS preset, any remaining echoes will be reset . If the ECHO effect is set differently in the switched preset from the previous preset, the echoes will change to the sound indicated by the new preset . If you want the echo speed and character to sound identical between two (or more) presets, make sure to set the ECHO parameters the same in all of them .

Yes, I know all this Jace, saw the other post on it, but it is not working. Maybe I need to do a reset and reinstall the FW?

    1. Make a backup file of your presets and settings.
    Go to FILE-BACKUP.
Store that file somewhere you can easily find it.
    2. Go to FILE-UPDATE FIRMWARE.
This will simply reload the current firmware in to the unit.
This will sometimes fix issues like this.
    Did this help?
    If not:
    3. Download the SYSTEM RESTORE file from this page:
    https://atomicamps.com/atomic-amps-support/#ampli-firebox
    4. In the editor go to FILE-RESTORE and select the downloaded file.
This will load all factory presets and settings in to your unit.

If so, go to FILE-RESTORE and select your personal backup file.
    Are things working normally now?

Jace, your link above sends me to the files for the firebox, I am on AA12 and it has a completely different file number. I do not see a file simply marked firmware restore. I see one marked system restore but it's titled "AF Final Prod Backup 12-2-16" and if that is the date 12-2-16, then I do not see how that is the latest firmware 6.2.0.1. So the instructions for reinstalling the latest firmware are very lacking. The manual says nothing about reinstalling firmware, so again, very lacking. When I select install firmware from file it is looking for a .afu file which I do not see anywhere. The firmware is supposed to be included in the windows AA editor, but when I click it, it simply brings up the editor. So I assume I first have to uninstall the editor completely in order to reinstall the firmware? Things don't have to be this hard, it should be a simple download of the .afu file and install it, but again, the instructions suck for a reinstall. And these rocket scientists that write manuals need to include things that we might need/want to know. ;)

    Rob,
    Sorry for the wrong link.
This is the one you want:
    https://atomicamps.com/atomic-amps-support/
The firmware is embedded in to the Editor Application.
The SYSTEM RESTORE file brings the unit back to factory settings and presets.
Follow these instructions and let me know if solves the problem:

    3. Download the SYSTEM RESTORE file from this page:

    4. In the editor go to FILE-RESTORE and select the downloaded file.
This will load all factory presets and settings in to your unit.

I see one marked system restore but it's titled "AF Final Prod Backup 12-2-16" and if that is the date 12-2-16, so, if the date on this file is correct how does it restore all the lates amps, etc?

    Don't worry about it.
We're only loading this file to try and solve
    your spill over issue.
Then you'll be reloading your personal backup file.

Ok, got it. Thanks. Just wondering why the date for that file is 2016 and why they wouldn't have an updated, newer file with all the latest amps, etc. and of course a single file for the FW without having to reinstall the editor as well, assuming that a situation could arise requiring that individual file like many manufacturers have available.

So, updating the firmware through the editor did work. I now have the spillover function working. Updating/reinstalling the FW did correct a couple other things as well (as I noticed), so all is well. Thanks for your help Jace, without you, this company would be in big trouble. IMO :) There is a lot of room for improvement and updates. Hopefully they are working on that.

One last thing, ask them to fix this forum so that when I respond to a post I don't have to fire up MS Edge/Internet Explorer. Chrome and Opera do not work most of the time for whatever reason. Thanks
