    Hi

I’ve had an AA6 for a couple of years. Only use it occasionally. I took it out today after it being stored for a few months. The boot screen stops at AMPLIFIRE DSP 6.2.0

At the same time, all six of the switch lights come on and stay on.

I connected it to my PC via USB, and was prompted to update the firmware which I did. After erasing and updating DSP#1 and #2, the unit reboots and displays exactly the same behaviour I described above.

Meanwhile, the editor screen on the PC stops its progress at about halfway, and after a few minutes, fails with an error saying assets could not be restored.

When I try to reboot with switch 3 held down, the onboard screen does not light up – even after I release switch 3. Just sits there smirking at me with the six lights all on.

    Anyone any ideas?

Looks fried to me, which is a blow considering I.ve played it for no more than ten hours in all the couple of years I’ve had it – and the fact that it is most definitely out of warranty.
