    Yesterday I connected my AFB.

No sound in A/B mode, and Boost switch returned to default position (on/off instead of on/tap/off).

    On/Off mode was working correctly.

I went to the editor and imported the 2 presets I saved for A and B and it was ok again.

I'm scared about this happening on stage. I think I could re-assign presets manually, without the computer, but I'm not sure.

I connect it once or twice a day, several hours a day, since the very first day (like 2 months ago). This is the very first time I have an issue with it.

By the way... the A/B button was very scratchy since day one. Today I used some Contact Cleaner (Residual 0) on it and it worked fine. Now it works as softly as the other one.

    Thanks!

    Hello,
Sorry about the trouble with your AFB.
There's a 99% chance this is related to your power supply.
If the power becomes unstable or the correct power isn't used
the unit will exhibit erratic behavior.
This is the required power spec:
9 volt, 200mA minimum, center negative polarity, 2 .1mm coax plug.
If you're using the factory power supply, try a True Tone 1 spot
or a GodLyke Power-all as a replacement power supply.
If you're using a power supply like this, make sure you do NOT
daisy chain. If you're using a power brick it is possible the output
you're using is bad or the cable connecting to that output is bad.
If you're using a Strymon power supply it has known issues with
the AFB and is not recommended.
    Cheers,
    Jace

    Thank you, Jace!

I was using the original power supply. It's working ok now.

I think I have a "one spot" somewhere at home. Is it better than the original?

Thank you again and excuse me if I didn't answer earlier. It looks like I didn't receive the notificación about your post or I didn't see it.

I found my "1 spot", but it's not from True Tone; it's from Visual Sound. Is it ok?

Yes. Visual Sound changed their name to True Tone. Same company and product.

Hi! happened to me twice while playing and have a
power outage blink in my house

the only strange behaviour was that in fact the A/B presets were OK, but all the knobs were back to level .

The second time i realized that i've only had to put the knobs in the original place of the presets in both A/B banks and voil√°, the rest of the chain was ok, no need to restore the AFB
only the knobs levels went all to zero, the chain effect was ok allways...

just a tip if it happens to you in the middle of a show try only set again the AFB in A/B mode and set the knobs as they were , and take a picture of the knobs just in case beforehand:)
    cheers

    Oh!

I didn't try that. If it worked for you it would probably have worked for me, too.

I'll do it if it ever happens again.

    Thank you very much!!
    I feel safer, now.

    Why didn't I tried it?
