    Hi,

I own the original Amplifire 3 and very happy with the sound quality....but getting bugged by the audible lag when switching presets. They're just not instantaneous and you can clearly hear a momentary drop when changing to a different preset.

Has this issue been fixed in the Amplifire 6 or 12? Would love to stay with the Amplifire family as I love the tones...but considering an upgrade and looking at the Boss GT-1000 as everyone raves how instant all the patch changes are in there...

    Thanks

You shouldn't be having any lags with your AF3!
    Do this:
Make a backup file of your settings.
Download the SYSTEM RESTORE file from this page:
    https://atomicamps.com/atomic-amps-support/
Restore using this file. This will load your unit
    with factory settings and presets.
Set up a few quick foot switch settings and test them
    for lag.
    Any improvement?

I never experienced any lag on my original AA3 or my AFB when I owned those devices. And switching is instant on both my AA12's too, it' part of why I love the products.

Funny, I definitely have it on the AF3. Even if I take the same patch and copy it to a different patch # (so the two patches are identical) just switching between has an audible drop for maybe a quarter of a second...definitely audible....weird.
