Hello, I have read through the manual several times and still can’t get my amp 6 to assign presets properly,
I have mine set up exactly like this, from the manual.

Let’s stick with our AmpliFire 3 example. All three switches set to A>-<B mode.
    Foot switch #1 A preset 1
    B preset 2
    Foot switch #2 A preset 3
    B preset 4
    Foot switch #3 A preset 5
    B preset 6
If you press foot switch #3 you’ll call up preset 5.
If you press foot switch #3 again, you’ll call up preset 6.
If you press foot switch #1 you’ll call up preset 1.
If you press foot switch #3 you’ll call up preset 5.
It will ALWAYS revert to the A preset assigned to the foot switch.

What my unit is doing is, if I set it to A>-<B mode button 1 preset 80 for A and preset 81 for B it will toggle between 81 on A and 82 for B every time, no matter what do.

This "off by one" is how the editor works. It's confusing, but best to try not to think about it too much. When you edit footswitches, just subtract 1 when you choose your preset number.

FYI, there is a related setting which chooses 1 based indexing or 0 based indexing. This is confusing as well, so I'm not going there.

IMHO, the editor would be better if it showed the name as well as the preset number here and elsewhere. @Jace Nuzback I'm happy to donate my time to improve this in the editor (per whatever agreement you would need). I get why there might be not be space to do this on the LCD UI; this is a no brainer for the "editor".
