    Hi all,
Apologies for the dumb question but I've spent the last few hours trying to puzzle this out with help from the manual, and I'm getting nowhere - I only have a few days to return this item and get a refund if I discover it's not the pedal for me, so I'd be very grateful if any experts can point me in the right direction. I've tried youtube as well, but I haven't found what I am looking for.
When editing "patches" - I can go through the menus of the Amplifire 6 and obviously put my effects into my chain in whatever order - am I wrong in assuming that if I also go and edit the pedal assignments on the 'patch', that when I move to a different 'patch', I can program different pedal assignments?
It appears that the pedal assignments are global - that is, no matter what patch I'm on the buttons will always be set to carry out certain behaviours. Is that correct?
Additionally, I have one song where I might want the expression pedal linked to reverb level, but then to be able to swap to another song where I automatically have the expression pedal linked to volume. Again - it might be user error, but when I've tried going into the Effect Loop/pedal assignment to assign a different parameter in each patch, it just seems to reset back to wah again. (I'm using the new amplifire 6 so I am assuming that I don't need to worry about ticking the expression tick box in loop mode).

    Michael,
First, have a look at my Foot Switching Assignments doc:
    https://atomicamps.com/forum/index.php?threads/assigning-foot-switches.2054/
PRESET MODE is what you use for a foot switch when you want to use the foot switch
for different functions in each preset.
As to expression pedal settings, these can be saved per preset.
Make sure to click SAVE after you make the change to the expression pedal
    parameter assignment!

The flexible switching is one of my favorite things about the Amplifire range for live use. It's really powerful once you get the hang of it.
