    Hi!

I just bought an Amplifire 6 this week and have been playing aorund with it since.

I was dialing tones in while wearing headphones and i liked it. Today i connected it to my interface to record with some of the tones. Now an 800 with gain on 7 AND booster almost sounds "clean" when i record it or play it through my desktop speakers (which are actually pretty good). This is the case for every preset i made. I cant even get a recto into distortion... And: if i record from the headphones out, its just the same.

I checked the Settings for Poweramp, Cab Simulation on the different outputs, my guitar is passive but a gibson burstbucker 3 should have some output... Right now, I'm pretty clueless....

What happen if you plug your desktop speakers directly into the AA6? This should help you work out whether the issue is with the AA6 or somthing else.

If you listen with headphones again does it sound the way it did when you were dialing the tones in?
Any chance you've bypassed the AMP block by accident?
Does it have the same issue with the factory presets?
Have you tried a different guitar cable to connect your guitar
    to the AmpliFIre?
