I know this must have been covered a million times, but I can't find it anywhere: What are the steps involved in updating my firmware?

    Thanks!

    Joe,
    Which model do you have?
What firmware are you currently using?

    Hey Jace!

    It's an AA3. And it's at home. But I believe it's 2.1-something.

    Joe,
First you should backup your system.
None of your presets or settings should change from the update process,
    but sometimes the unexpected happens!
Then delete your current editor application.
    Go to this page:
    http://atomicamps.com/atomic-amps-support/#amplifire--amplifire-12
Download the Windows or Mac editor.
Connect your unit via USB and open the downloaded editor application.
Go to FILE-UPDATE FIRMWARE. The editor will likely tell you to update.
Process takes a few minutes. Don't touch anything while the unit is updating.
    Jace

Did you do it Joe? I'm saving this link when I get the unit. Either way, it's all good.

Jace, is there a list somewhere of the changes in the Firmware Updates?

You need an internet connection to download the package, but you install it from a local file -- no interwebs connection required. So you could download the package on any device and then transfer it to your music PC on a thumb drive.

If you have an iPhone, I think you're out of luck, but I *BELIEVE* you can download and save files on Android. How you get it from there to your music PC, though, I'm not sure (not an Android guy). Or get a friend to download it to a thumb drive for you. That will work as well.
