    Hi,
I have never tried to run backing tracks into my AA3. I just tried today and I am not getting any sound from my aux input. I tried a 3.5mm into a quarter inch adapter and a regular quarter inch patch cable but no sound. I plugged into the return left and right.
    HELP!
    thanks,
    Eric

Attached are screenshots from the software.

    Your settings are all correct.
You can use the LEFT/MONO input or run in to both the left and right.
Make sure the volume is up all the way on your playback source.
The FX Loop RETURN level is where you mix in the amount of
    background track.
Other than that you might be dealing with a bad adaptor and/or cable.

    Hey Jace thanks so much!
I've been using the adapter and cable a lot for many different applications so I figured it was fine.
Turns out the cable going to the sleeve had broken and L and R were combined and super super quiet.
Looks like everything is just fine!
    Thanks again,
    Eric
