I`ve heard that KOT is extremely popular on Helix in the new update... Would love to see more drive pedal options, as well as super neutral one (even more than clean boost) so we can boost our amps without adding any coloration to the sound... :)

You can always just put the GRAPHIC EQ FX block before the amp model and boost the LEVEL parameter without boosting or cutting any of the EQ frequencies. A boost won't get any less colored than that!

will the parametric eq's work the same way? (as there are more of them to spare while the graphic eq is only one)

No, because a frequency is always selected. So you'll always be boosting the current frequency.

What if you select “gain only”? Maybe I’m not understanding it correctly, but here’s what the manual says:

GAIN ONLY: Applies only gain (across all frequencies) . In this mode, only the LEVEL parameter has effect .

Looks like this applies to pre-eq and parametric eq.

My understanding is that GAIN ONLY works as a volume boost set post or a gain boost set pre (ie. pushing the amp more).

I'm sorry. You guys are correct. I forgot about the gain only mode.
