    Hi all, have just made available some FREE presets for demo to be used with acoustic guitars that use piezo pickups.
    Please find and try them here;
    www.greendog.co.uk/af/acousticpacks.php
    Be glad to hear any feedback (no pun intended) you may have on how these affect your acoustic guitar sound.
    thanks and enjoy!!

    demo video:
    Using an old '90s Washburn acoustic with relatively poor (and occasionally distorted) sound from the in-built piezo bridge pickup. Sound played back through Atomic Amplifire with presets created to tame the "quack" and "harshness" of that sound using custom created IRs. Note, the AMP block of the AA is bypassed.

    Even though i created those presets (above) for acoustic guitars with piezo pickups, i tried them with an electric guitar the other day and they yielded some fair results. Be interested to hear from anyone who has tried these out with either acoustic or electric guitar. thanks

    Should've replied sooner...

    But a few months ago I grabbed your free piezo samples because I really wanted to use a steel-string and a classical through the AA on an upcoming solo gig.

    I A/B'd my guitars with all the presets, picked a fave (which pretty well worked for both guitars), put a little TC Body Res in front to give me one more little chance to tweak for the room in real time, and everything sounded exceptional straight through the PA.

    Which means I really need to visit your site and grab a pack or two just for making my life a lot easier.

    Well done, slateboy!

    On a related note, isn't the Body Res mainly just a compressor? Or is there something else therein to thicken/beef up the sound?
    I liked what it added, but I figure the same thing is inside the AA and that I could omit the Body Res.
