    Everyone,
I created something special for you!
Stage volume presets made with the CLR at 90dB!
Be aware that these were created for mono use.
These were made to set your LEVEL knob to full and not get any clipping.
The first 8 of them are in this post.
I'll put the rest in following posts.
Everyone one of these presets has FX block settings for:
Gate, Compressor, T-Wah, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Tremolo, Pitch shifter, Echo, Reverb and Boost.
The PRE EQ and the Graphic EQ were used to fine tune the tones.
These all use stock Atomic CAB IR files.
In presets where the BOOST is ON, the boost was used to create the tone.
In presets where the BOOST is OFF, there is a boost dialed in and ready to use.
These were all created using 3rd Power MagFragg ’77 humbuckers with a DC resistance of 9.5 Ohms.
For more info on those see this link:http://3rdpower.com/magfrag-77/

Thanks Jace, I'll give these a try at volume at rehearsal next week.

Thanks Jace this is just what I needed. Had a go at moderate volume and they sound very promising. Looking forward to turning them up loud and will report back.

Luckily my bridge pickup is 9.3 kOhm and they seemed to sit right about the level of my tweaked patches. I'm taking that as a win because I must be doing the level matching right :D

@Jace Nuzback I had a quick playthrough this weekend.
Most of these are very nice!
They were a bit quiet compared to my presets, I had to up the level with 10dB, but it was consistent across all patches.
    They really are nicely levelled.

Replaced the stock cabinets with a Celestion Redback 412 cab, that makes them suddenly sound like the real deal :)

You must have put in quite some time to put all these together.

Excellent! I'm glad they worked out for you!
I fully expect everyone to use their favorite CAB IRs with these.
It did take some time to dial these all in, level them all and make sure there was no clipping, create all of the FX settings, etc.
But these seemed like a tool everyone could really use. So it was well worth the effort!

Hopefully they make these the first set of defaults in the next firmware. Won’t help old hate upgrading, but it would start new customers out on a much better path.

Hi Jace - thanks for doing this. Really great to have some other presets than just the Deluxe, Plexi and HBE ones that have become my bread and butter.

I did have a bit of an issue with the Deluxe preset. It was waaayy louder than the others and nearly blew my speaker / burst my eardrums. On inspection it looks as though something went wrong with the import. When I checked the amp model there was a message there that said "?*Invalid amp" or something along those lines.

Also - just a question, but are these supposed to be run with the output cranked to 100%? They are much quieter than my presets, presumably to prevent clipping the input to your CLR. I use a Laney IRT-X and run the input at about 50%, so my presets are generally much louder - at similar levels to where the original Amplifire presets were at.

It's left me wondering, should I match my current presets to yours (i.e. approx 18dB off the amp blocks) and set the output level on the Amplifire to 100%, or should I adjust yours up to the level that mine are at (around -4dB on the amp block) and just keep the level control below 50%? Just trying to figure out what will give the best tone / signal to noise etc.

Hey there. I have no idea why the Deluxe preset would have acted that way for you.
Has anyone else had any trouble with this or any other preset in this way?
These were created to allow your LEVEL knob to be set all the way up without clipping.
It's not about clipping the input of your monitoring device (In my case the CLR) it's
about not clipping the Digital to Analog converter of AmpliFire. If you don't have enough
volume with the LEVEL set all the way up to 100%, you should still be able to boost
the input level of your monitor and/or the master volume of your monitor to get the desired volume.
Personally I would bring the AMP block LEVEL parameter value down on your presets to match these presets.

Correct. The Amp Block LEVEL parameter values in these presets shouldn't allow
your unit to clip and they should be well balanced in volume comparatively.

The deluxe did some weird things for me but I just moved on, picked out some favourites and forgot about it until now sorry. I wasn’t trying them out at really high volume so it just sounded like horrible clipping. Kids probably distracted me and I totally forgot about it.

    Guys,
    My apologies.
There was an issue with the Deluxe preset.
I've fixed it and renamed the file DELUXE CLR 912.
Please try it and let me know if you have any issues with it.

The only issue I had was that they were very quiet at -18db(ish) so I had to bring the amp level up to about +3db. I'm not sure why that is the case as I already have the overall level is already set to maximum. Anyway, these presets are really good. The only reason I didn't keep some of them is that I either marginally preferred what I already have or I just don't care for particular amp styles. Having said that, I did end up keeping the Recto, MK4, Arkhan and Top Boost models and up to now I've never been able to find presets for those amps that I like at all. Other than changing the amp level, the only things I found myself doing was dropping the treble, slightly boosting the bass and slightly dropping the presence.

I find that because I really don't understand all the various controls on the effects and cabinet options, I really struggle to know what to do to tweak the sound to what I'm after. As a result, i really need presets like this that sort out a basically excellent preset that only needs minor adjustments to suit my rig. These presets do that in spades and I can't thank you enough for making these available. If you come up with any more, for either amps, cabs or effects, I'd love to have them made available too. Thanks again Jace, you're a godsend when it comes to me getting great tones from my Atomic.

They were really good! I was struggling with too bright/harsh tones at gig level (I cannot dial in the sounds at that level at home, and lower volumes do not translate very well to stage volumes). Now it is perfect. Thanks a lot for your effort, Jace!!
