I'm wondering whether I could sync the tap tempo on my Amplfire with an external pedal like the Source Audio Collider.

The manueal seems to suggest this would be possible:
MIDI CLOCK (OFF/INPUT/OUPUT): Allows the AMPLIFIRE to transmit or receive a MIDI CLOCK signal. When set to INPUT the AMPLIFIRE will listen and respond to MIDI CLOCK messages on MIDI IN and set the BPM accordingly. When set to OUTPUT the AMPLIFIRE will transmit the current BPM via the MIDI OUT port.

    Is it?

Also - the Source Audio Collider has 128 presets, assignable to PC commands. So presumably a midi connection would allow me to sync the presets with the Amplifire ones - i.e.
preset 1 on Amplifire = preset 1 on SA Collider
preset 2 on Amplifire = preset 2 on SA Collider
    etc

If the answer is yes to both of these I may need to check my finances!

    Yes, that will work fine!
I was doing something similar with a Line 6 M5 and my AF6 recently.

Thanks Jace. That is not going to cure my GAS though!
