Hey fellas, I'm interested in using the AFB as a pedalboard preamp and I'd like to use the Boss MS3 for effects however, the AFB has no fx loop(why not?!?!?) Obviously I can't 4cm it so it is as simple as turning off all fx and reverb? The boss unit has 3 loops , I can put it in there and leave the loop permanently on but how does this affect how I go direct? Obviously if I run a line out from the XLR, I lose all my post AFB fx...

AFB PROS, HELP A BROTHER OUT!!!

    Thanks in advance!!

I have not used this particular combination, but obviously you'll set your FX mix levels in the MS3.
So I guess it comes down to how you're monitoring your signal.
You can use the mono/stereo outputs of the MS3 to feed the FOH mixer
which could then send you a monitor mix to stage monitors or IEMs.
If you wish to use something like an FRFR on stage as a monitor you'll
want to pick up a direct box.
    For mono use this one:

This one will let you run stereo. 1/4" inputs, 1/4" through outputs to your FRFR and XLR outputs
    to the FOH mixer.
